Owned and operated by husband and wife team Doug and Barbara Silva, Silva's Sheldon Inn offers fine dining and luxury ambiance and has been doing so for nearly 20 years. The menu is eclectic with dishes from Portugal and Italy, with some French thrown in. The Portuguese beef skewers are heavenly and the Portuguese bean soup is better than mama makes, just don't tell her that.

Tony's Place is set right in the heart of the Delta. It has been a staple for boaters traveling the calm Delta waters to find good drinks and great food for over 50 years. Its bright neon sign entices you to walk through the big heavy wooden doors, but it's the service and food that keeps you there. For the best Portuguese beans this side of the river, you'll want to stop by Tony's Place, and if you get lucky, you might even be invited to sit at his table.

Much of Portuguese cuisine is made up of cured meats, and Morant's hits this nail right on the head. With salt-cured fish, and sausages you are sure to be taken back to the Azores with this selection. The linguica and chorizo are perfect for breakfast, and their Hawaiian sausage with bits of pineapple, well let's just say 'sabaroso'.
