The Perry sextuplets are born at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Ian (pictured) is the biggest sextuplet at 2 pounds, 9 ounces. His sister, Madison, is the smallest, weighing only 1 pound, 11 ounces.
Erin and Joe Perry hold hands, celebrating the birth of their sextuplets. It took months of planning and a team of 42 to assist in the extraordinary birth. Their birthday, March 19, was also the start of the war with Iraq.

Erin holds baby Zoe for the first time. The Perry Six-Pack, born three months early, still need round the clock care at Magee Women's Hospital.
Big brother Parker visits his brothers and sisters for the first time. The sextuplets have delicate immune systems, so everyone is required to scrub before touching them.

The sextuplets are growing up. One-year-old Madison is the first of the sextuplets on her feet. She's now walking, with a little help from a push toy.
Six is a crowd. Zoe is pinned by crib mate Ian. Six cribs won't fit in the sextuplets' room, so the babies double up in three cribs.

The sextuplets are down to just 18 bottles a day, and far fewer volunteers are needed to help. From left to right: Ian, Simon, Parker (big brother) Olivia, Zoe, Joshua and Madison.

Wonder what will happen to the Perry sextuplets? Take a look at the Coleman sextuplets, 17, who live in the village of Stoke Orchard, England. They provide an extraordinary glimpse into the Perry family's future.
On the Road
The Coleman sextuplets went out on the road for their first driving lesson. Stuart is the first behind the wheel. Gary is the so-called oldest and James is the youngest. Jayne is quiet and reserved, unlike her sister Hannah. And finally, there is Nic, who has to wait all day for her turn at the wheel.
