Amazon.com has released a list of what it calls the most well-read cities in the United States, based on data compiled from all book, magazine and newspaper sales across all formats (digital and print) since Jan. 1, 2011. The online bookseller included cities with more than 100,000 residents, and data was calculated on a per capita basis.
The results? Coming in at number 20 was Atlanta - home of the Braves, Falcons, CNN, and lots of readers, too.
Portland, Ore. - No. 19
