Cara Rosenthal, a 26-year old law student, left, poses with Jaime Edmondson, a 29-year old former police officer, both of Delray Beach, Fla. The two met four years ago while trying out for the Miami Dolphins cheerleading squad.

Luke Adams, a deaf, 23-year old college graduate. poses with his mother, Margie Adams, a 51-year old research assistant, in Los Angeles. "I thought it would be easy because my mother and I have always communicated really well," said the longtime "Amazing Race" fan, who doesn't speak or read lips.

Lakisha & Jennifer

Eliminated: Stage 9

Lakisha Hoffman, a 28-year old program coordinator from New York, left, poses with her sister Jennifer Hoffman, a 24-year old marketing assistant from Kentucky. They both were former Division 1 college athletes.

Michael & Mark

Eliminated: Stage 8

Michael Munoz, a 51-year old stuntman and actor of Hawaii, left, poses with his brother Mark Munoz, a 48-year old jockey and stuntman from Los Angeles. Standing at 4 feet, 9 inches, Both are married fathers.

Eliminated: Stage 7

Mel White, a 68-year old writer, poses with his son Mike White, a 38-year old writer, producer and director in Los Angeles. The pair is from Santa Monica, Calif. Mike White is the actor-screenwriter who penned such films as "School of Rock" and "Nacho Libre." Despite the frantic pace of the race, Mike insists he didn't bicker much with his dad.

Eliminated: Stage 6

Flight attendants Christie Volkmer, a 37-year old from Oklahoma, left, and Jodi Wincheski, a 39-year old from Texas, pose together in Los Angeles. The two met while working on a Southwest Airlines flight six years ago and hit it off. They consider themselves to be "extremely competitive and determined to win."

Eliminated: Stage 4

Amanda Blackledge, a 22-year old student, left, poses with Kris Klicka, a 24-year old sales representative, in Los Angeles. The couple, from San Diego, met three years ago and love bonfires at the beach.

Eliminated: Stage 3

Brad Hunt, a 46-year-old distribution dispatcher poses with his wife, Victoria Hunt, a 52-year old tax manager in Los Angeles. The couple is from Columbus, Ohio. The show's Web site said Victoria Hunt recently had major foot surgery and is looking to prove wrong those who told her she would never be able to run again.

Steve Cole, a 43-year old carpenter, left, poses with his wife Linda Cole, a 52-year-old customer service representative. The couple, from Martinsville, Va., has been married for 17 years.

Preston McCamy, a 28-year old software engineer, poses with Jennifer Hopka, a 26-year old student, both from Columbia, S.C. Dating for two years, they say they are very strong minded individuals.

"The Amazing Race 14" host Phil Keoghan stands at Los Angeles International Airport prepared to guide another group of couples on their greatest adventure. The Emmy Award-winning New Zeland-born TV personality has been hosting the reality show since it started.
