On July 17, 2014 NOAA released its 24th annual report on global climate over the previous year. The report included data from scientists in nearly 60 countries. This image shows that in 2013, China, Japan, and South Korea experienced their warmest summer ever. Some regions experienced continuing droughts and other areas were hit by floods.
