Babe Didrikson Zaharias shoots from a trap on the ninth hole at the Los Angeles Open golf tournament on Jan. 5, 1945. Zaharias was the only woman to qualify for the $13,333,33 tournament. She went on to score a 76. No woman has played in a men's event since - until Annika Sorenstam teed off at The Colonial.
