America hasn't lost its love for Denzel Washington. He's been voted America's favorite movie star for the second year in a row in an annual Harris Poll released Jan. 15, 2008. "The Great Debaters" star co-produced the film with Oprah Winfrey.
In 2007, Washington had a big screen hit with "American Gangster." He starred as a Harlem drug lord opposite Russell Crowe as a cop out to take him down.

The actor in sixth place has been dead for 29 years. John Wayne has made the top 10 every year the poll's been taken since 1994.
