Liu Bolin is a master of disguise. The Chinese artist disappears into his photographs by carefully painting his face and body to match his environment. Bolin has made more than 100 such images for his "Hiding the in the City" series since 2005.
In an upcoming show at the Eli Klein Gallery in New York this month, Bolin will showcase new works from his "Hiding in California" and "Hiding in New York," series.
In this 2013 photo, Hiding in California No. 2 - Hollywood, Bolin blends into the iconic Hollywood sign.
