Actor Jim Belushi signs his book, "Real Men Don't Apologize," on May 15, 2006, at a bookstore in New York City. In his book he writes about experiences like his three marriages and the death of his brother, "Saturday Night Live" comedian John Belushi.
"Akuma No Dance"
On May 16 in Tokyo, Japanese journalist Itsuko Hirata holds a copy of the novel, "Akuma No Dance" (translation: Devil's Dance), said to be originally written by Saddam Hussein on the eve of the 2003 U.S. led invasion of Iraq. Hirata has translated the work from Arabic into Japanese and it went on sale in Japan on May 19.

"The Big Red Book"

"The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial"
Writer Herman Wouk attends the Broadway debut of "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," headlined by actor David Schimmer, on May 7, 2006, in New York City. In 1952, Wouk won the Pulitzer Prize for his best-selling novel, "The Caine Mutiny," which was about his experiences as a navy captain at war. The Broadway revival closed May 21 and received one Tony nomination.
