Food & Wine magazine
Food & Wine magazine is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Best New Chefs list. Every year Food & Wine receives nominations from chefs, journalists and local food experts on who should make the cut. They investigate each chef's menu and background. Chefs who have been in charge (they have total creative control) of a kitchen for five years or fewer are eligible. Once the list is broken down and divided by region, the magazine's editors travel around the country, dining anonymously at the restaurants of the top contenders.
Pictured here is Jamie Malone, of the restaurant Sea Change, in Minneapolis, Minn. She made the magazine's list, which was revealed live on "CBS This Morning." Watch the segment here.
