Jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino has reimagined "The Wizard of Oz" - now set in downtown Los Angeles, with Kansas nowhere in sight - for a catalog called "My Pretty," which showcases her Oz-inspired jewelry collections. And she enlisted some A-list help to play the parts. Here, rocker Kelly Osbourne takes on good witch Glinda.

Debi Mazar, who stars on the HBO series "Entourage," took on the role of the Wicked Witch of the West. "We wanted the Wicked Witch to be glamorous, and she embodied that perfectly," Tarantino said. "She portrayed her so well."

The original film starts out on a farm in Kansas, but in Tarantino's version of "Oz," Dorothy (Holly Owens, right) lives in Los Angeles. Her next-door neighbor (Kelly Osbourne, left) turns into Glinda, while the woman behind the taco stand (Larva X, center) becomes the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, and many characters in between.

In Tarantino's "My Pretty" catalog, Debi Mazar stars as Dorothy's glamorous (but evil) landlady, who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West when she goes over the rainbow. The jewelry collections featured in the book go on sale beginning in August.

The infamous yellow brick road becomes a stairwell to the Emerald City in Tarantino's vision of Oz, now set in downtown Los Angeles. Model Holly Owens plays Dorothy.
The Oz-themed collections are part of a partnership between Tarantino and Warner Brothers to celebrate the 70th anniversary of "The Wizard of Oz."

In the 52-page collector's book, which is for sale on Tarantino's Web site, Larva X also played the Cowardly Lion (complete with colorfun jewelry) as well as the Tin Man and a flying monkey.

"'The Wizard of Oz' is one of my favorite movies," said Tarantino, seen here in her "My Pretty" book starring as the wizard.
Her favorite character? The Wicked Witch. "I always thought she had all the best lines."
