Tips for new runners: Start with short distances and slowly work your way up. Certain distances will seem impossible, but steady improvement can help you achieve your goal.

Why he runs: I was never into running growing up because I played too many other sports. Once I was out of high school I started running on occasion to stay in shape. I now run a few races a year, the longest of which being 10 miles. I enjoy running because it is a great time to clear my head from everything else.
