Tips for new runners: Don't get discouraged. No matter how bad the run may be, there will be so many more that will take you beyond enjoyment! It's about the journey not the destination.

Why she runs: I have been running consistently for more than 15 years. Most of those miles are with my friends and my favorite partner, George – my English setter and best training partner! I feel I have made so many strong connections with my running friends over those miles. We have completed countless 5ks, many half-marathons and some full marathons together.
