1 Hospitalized In Newark House Fire
NEWARK, Del., (CBS) – A fire broke out at a home in Newark, Delaware Monday morning, sending one person to the hospital, according to officials.
Officials say the fire was reported shortly before 10 a.m. at the 200 block of Edjil Drive.
According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's office, a 41-year-old man was taken to the Christiana Hospital for smoke inhalation in stable condition.
The Fire Marshal's office says it has determined that the house fire was accidental.
Officials say seven occupants were displaced.
