Zsa Zsa Gabor Recovering From Surgery

Zsa Zsa Gabor was recovering Tuesday after undergoing surgery for infections in her legs, her husband said.

"The operation was successful, she's in recovery and in a couple of days she'll be OK," Frederic Von Anhalt said in a telephone interview from Gabor's room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 90-year-old actress has remained partially paralyzed from a 2002 car accident, forcing her to use a wheelchair and walker and leading to infections in her legs.

Gabor was also reported to have had a stroke in 2005 and underwent emergency surgery to clear a blocked artery.

Gabor's screen credits include "Moulin Rouge" in 1952 and "Queen of Outer Space" in 1958. She has also appeared on TV specials and game shows, and as a guest on several television series, often playing herself.

In 1989, she slapped a Beverly Hills police officer who stopped her for expired license plates. She was convicted after a heavily publicized trial.

It hasn't only been downhill with her poor health, but Gabor has been unlucky in love as well, having been married nine times and divorced seven times, including one annulment.

Gabor's longest lasting marriage is to her current husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, who claims to have had a decade-long affair with Anna Nicole Smith and unsuccessfully claimed that he is the father of her daughter.

The claim by von Anhalt surfaced during the notorious paternity suit over Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn.

Gabor gave birth to her daughter, Francesca Hilton, on March 10, 1947. In her revealing book "One Lifetime Is Not Enough," she claimed that her pregnancy was the result of being raped by her husband, Conrad Hilton, after their divorce.

The drama continued in 2005 when the Hungarian actress accused her daughter of larceny and fraud and filed a claim against her in California court.
