Zsa Zsa Gabor falls into a coma, husband says
(CBS) Zsa Zsa Gabor slipped into a coma early Wednesday morning, her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, told TMZ.
The 94-year-old Hungarian-born actress has been unresponsive since 2 a.m., he said.
The actress' spokesman told CNN that Gabor was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon because the feeding tube in her stomach was "bleeding...like a fountain."
Gabor was released from that same hospital the day before, after being treated for pneumonia, CNN reports.Doctors were working on the actress Wednesday afternoon, von Anhalt said, according to the report, but "She doesn't respond." He added that Gabor is suffering from a stomach infection.
Gabor has been hospitalized repeatedly since last July, when she broke her hip in a fall from bed.
She underwent hip replacement surgery last summer, and her right leg was amputated in January to prevent the spread of gangrene. In March, she was taken to the hospital with high blood pressure after hearing about the death of Elizabeth Taylor.
