Zach Sobiech, teen with rare form of bone cancer, inspires with his music (with some celebrity help)

(CBS News) Zach Sobiech is a 17-year-old boy with a rare and deadly form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. But instead of allowing this diagnosis to overwhelm him, he's instead using it as an opportunity to inspire others and raise awareness through his music. And some celebrities want to help him do so. See the beautiful collaboration in action in the video above.

The truly uplifting work featuring a multitude of celebrities (Brian Cranston, Sarah Silverman, Ashley Tisdale, Colbie Caillat, Chris Pratt, Anna Faris, Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Andy Grammer, Angela Kinsey, Jenna Elfman, Jack McBrayer, Jenna Fischer, The Lumineers... and that's only half of the list!) for Zach's song "Clouds" was posted by Soul Pancake who write:

Given only months to live, Zach turned to music to say goodbye. His song "Clouds" spread, and soon, Zach's message was heard across the country. We wanted to help Zach spread his message, and bring awareness to increase support for finding a cure. So, we asked our friends to help out...they did.

A big triple-rainbow salute for being inspiring, real-life heroes goes out to Zach and everyone involved in this project from all of us here at The Feed! If you'd like to learn more about the fund set up for Zach to help fight osteosarcoma, make sure to click here. I'm also going to include Zach's original music video for "Clouds" below as reference for the inspiration of this latest work. And for more uplifting material from Soul Pancake, be sure to visit their website by clicking here.

UPDATE: We at The Feed are very sad to learn that Zach has passed away. We're including a link with more information from the Health section here, but want to say how inspirational and beautiful we found his message, and salute his courage while battling osteosarcoma.
