Yearwood's Year To Remember

Trisha Yearwood has had a busy summer. In a single week in June, she performed with Luciano Pavarotti in Italy, with Garth Brooks in Los Angeles, and with Don Henley at the taping of her Hard Rock Live special in New York.

But then again, busy should be nothing new to the country music star. In the last year, Yearwood has released two albums, toured extensively, and even found time to make her acting debut on the CBS series JAG.

"Everything that could possibly happen good, has happened. It's been an amazing year. I'm happy," Yearwood told CBS 'This Morning' Co-Anchor Mark McEwen.

That hard work is not only winning her accolades from her country music peers, she's also earning respect from a growing crossover audience. Yearwood was named Top Female Vocalist by the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, and the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy Awards).

She performed her hit single How Do I Live? on this year's telecast of the Academy Awards show and is currently on tour with Garth Brooks, performing before soldout crowds.

Yearwood's newest album, Where Your Road Leads, was released in July, and already the album's first single, There Goes My Baby, has broken into the top 5 singles on Billboard's Country Chart.

Her previous album, Songbook: A Collection of Hits, was released 11 months ago and has sold 3 million copies. That album spawned three No. 1 singles: How Do I Live?, In Another's Eyes, and Perfect Love.
