Woman wanted in Colorado man's death surrenders in Iowa
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Authorities say a woman wanted in connection with the death of a Colorado man has surrendered to authorities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Colorado Springs police say 21-year-old Bionca Rogers is being held without bail in Iowa after turning herself in Wednesday. She was wanted on a warrant alleging first-degree murder in the death of 61-year-old Grant Frazier.
Frazier was last seen Feb. 16, and police say Rogers was with him. His body was found this week in Newton, Iowa, which is near Des Moines. The cause of death hasn't been released.
Rogers wasn't listed in online jail records in Linn County, Iowa, and it wasn't clear if she had a lawyer. Prosecutors in Colorado are working to have her extradited.
Police haven't said where Rogers is from or how she knew Frazier.
