Wis. woman survives stunt-like crash, flies out window, lands on garage roof, say cops

(CBS/AP) TWO RIVERS, Wis. - A Wisconsin driver is lucky to be alive after she was in an accident that makes those Spiderman stunts seem like a walk in the park.

According to Two Rivers police, the woman was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic when she lost control Monday, flew out her rear window, and landed on a garage roof.

Police say the car struck the median, went airborne, crossed a lane and then rolled four times before stopping in a front yard.  They believe the woman was ejected through a back window that was already broken, flew through the branches of a pine tree and landed on the garage roof.

Like we said, lucky to be alive.

The Herald Times Reporter reports she climbed off, with help from bystanders, and tried walking away. But paramedics took her to a hospital with her less than life-threatening injuries.

Officials believe alcohol was a factor.

(You knew that was coming.)
