Will "Pretty Little Liars" end after season 7? Signs are pointing that way.
Although ABC Family has not announced an end date, when series creator Marlene King spoke to Variety this week she suggested that season 7 will be the show's last.
"I think that this story when we're back will end next year at the end of season 7," King said. Then when asked, "So you definitely want it to end at the end of season 7, and don't want it to go beyond that?" King said, "Correct."
Earlier this year, when asked how long she sees "Pretty Little Liars" going for, series star Shay Mitchell told CBS News, "I honestly don't know -- until we're the 'Golden Girls?' I'm having so much fun and it's a great journey that all of us get to be on."
"Pretty Little Liars," which debuted in 2010, returns for season 6B on Jan. 12 -- that's the same day ABC Family be dubbed Freeform.
