Will Paula Adbul be the fourth judge on "The X Factor?"
(CBS/AP) NEW YORK- And then there was one. Only one more judge for "The X Factory" remains a mystery.
The new Fox singing contest "The X Factor" is scheduled to start taping on Sunday, but only three of the four judges have been announced.
Previously announced judges include pop superstar Cheryl Cole and Grammy-winning producer Antonio "L.A." Reid, as well as producer Simon Cowell of "American Idol" fame.
While the identity of the show's fourth judge remains unconfirmed, there is wide speculation that it will be Paula Abdul.
On Friday, negotiations with Abdul were continuing, according to an anonymous inside source.
"The X Factor" is based on Cowell's hit British show.
