(CBS) "The Lion King" isn't a new movie but it stands to claw its way to the top of the box office this weekend.

Disney is rereleasing the 1994 animated classic, one of the biggest hits in its vast collection, retooled for today's 3D audiences. It is scheduled it for a limited run - just two weeks - in theaters across the nation.

And starting Oct. 4, you'll be able to get the 3D version on Blu-ray.

The movie features the voices of Matthew Broderick (Simba), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Jeremy Irons (Scar), Nathan Lane (Timon), Robert Guillaume (Rafiki) and Whoopi Goldberg (Shenzi).

Will its roar be heard at the box office? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
