Will Arnett joining cast of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
The Michael Bay-produced "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film has landed another star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Arnett ("Arrested Development," "Up All Night") has signed on for the project.
Arnett joins Megan Fox, who has been cast as the turtles' friend April O'Neal. The turtles will be played by Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello) and Noel Fisher (Michelangelo).
It was not revealed what Arnett's role will be, though THR reports that he won't be playing Casey Jones, another human friend of the turtles that has yet to be cast. The roles of the turtles' mentor, Splinter, and masked nemesis, Shredder, are reportedly still uncast.
"Ninja Turtles" is scheduled to be released on June 6, 2014.
