Will Arnett Comedy To Benefit From "Glee" Lead-In

(CBS) Will Arnett and Kerri Russell will be getting a nice boost from Fox tonight because their new sitcom, "Running Wilde," is one of two shows to debut after the season premiere of the mega-hit "Glee."

The other is the blue-collar dysfunctional family comedy "Raising Hope," starring Broadway's Martha Plimpton.

Arnett revives a version of his "Arrested Development " character for the new sitcom which explores the lives of mismatched lovers.

Both shows - "Raising Hope" at 9 p.m. and "Running Wilde" at 9:30 - are expected to benefit from the huge lead-in "Glee" is expected to deliver.

In its second season, the Emmy-winning "Glee" is introducing a new character, a female football coach named Shannon Beiste (pronounced "beast"), who threatens Sue Sylvester's position at school and may push her into an odd alliance with glee club director Will Scheuster.
