· Libertarian challenger Tom Ender believes there should be no limits on campaign spending, as they prevent free speech. He points to existing regulations as the reason the number Political Action Committees has increased. Instead he advocates weekly financial disclosure for candidates.

· On the issue of abortion, Ender opposes government funding and a constitutional amendment regulating it. Instead, he believes individual states should have jurisdiction over the procedure.

· Ender is a volunteer bell ringer for the Salvation Army and donates time to the Leukemia Society.

· The Ender campaign is not receiving any assistance from the national Libertarian party; although the Wisconsin Libertarians will be funding radio campaign ads. Fundraising has been slow for the campaign; Ender does not believe the campaign budget will exceed $5000 (the minimum needed to file with the Federal Election Commission).

· Ender was not invited to participate in any of the state-wide televised debates.
