CBS4's Sharrie Williams has a disturbing story about a South Florida woman whose horse was stolen and decapitated -- possibly for the horse meat
Ivonne Rodriguez' 8-year-old horse Geronimo was stolen Feb. 27 from a pasture in the Redland, an area southwest of Miami.
Days later, the head and legs of the horse were found off a remote gravel road near the pasture. Someone had tied it to a palm tree and slaughtered it. Police told CBS4's Williams that they believe it was stolen and killed for the horse flesh.
"I'm upset and now I'm angry,'' said Rodriguez about the police theory. "I'm in total disbelief; this is not just any horse that was just kept this horse was loved. This was a family member."
