(CBS/AP) BOSTON - The brother of a woman allegedly killed by James "Whitey" Bulger exploded in anger after Bulger's former associate identified him as a drug user and informant.

The outburst came during testimony Monday by Stephen "The Rifleman" Flemmi at Bulger's racketeering trial. Flemmi had been testifying about the 1981 killing of Debra Davis. She had been Flemmi's girlfriend, and Flemmi says Bulger strangled her after Flemmi told her that he and Bulger were FBI informants.

Flemmi testified that her brother, Steve Davis, had been an informant. When he told jurors that, Steve Davis jumped up and shouted across the courtroom, and Flemmi quickly tried to correct himself, saying he meant to identify another brother of Debra Davis. Flemmi also apologized.

Steve Davis shouted an obscenity and called Flemmi a liar.

Flemmi, who previously pleaded guilty to 10 killings, is now serving a sentence of life in prison.

Bulger, 83, is accused in a 32-count racketeering indictment of playing a role in 19 killings in the 1970s and '80s while he allegedly led the Winter Hill Gang. He is also charged with money laundering and extortion.
