What Could Make Dodgeball More Fun? Trampolines
SAN FRANCISCO - Those with resolve to drop some pounds in 2011 may want to try their hand at a new trend taking hold in San Francisco. It's called trampoline dodgeball, and it's pretty much what it sounds like, reports KCBS-TV.
"Trampoline dodgeball takes the adults back to being kids on the playground, lets them re-live the days of when they were throwing dodgeballs at their brother or sister or friends," said Dave Schafer at the House of Air Trampoline Center in the Presidio, which boasts of having over 8,000 square feet of trampoline.
The games will take place in House of Air's warehouse, in an area they call "The Colosseum," which consists of 22 conjoined trampolines, including trampoline walls, and is also used for trampoline basketball, according to its website.
"We are a trampoline bar. We've got 67 trampolines, two very large areas with conjoined trampolines, which are basically trampolines pushed together, and trampoline walls, so you can bounce in any direction you can possibly think of," said Schafer.
General Admission to the House of Air is $14 per hour for people 7 years and up. Helmets are optional.
