WH Releases 75K New Visitor Records
The White House has released thousands of new visitor records showing a wide range of guests to President Barack Obama and his aides.
Most of the roughly 75,000 records released Friday cover October. Most visitors were there for White House tours.
Hundreds of guests saw the president at events ranging from wheelchair basketball to gatherings on such issues as health care, financial regulations, small businesses and hate crimes to trick-or-treating on Halloween.
New Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is on the list for a Fiesta Latina event with Obama. Queen Silvia of Sweden appears to have visited first lady Michelle Obama at the White House residence in October.
The White House is releasing the records periodically to help meet Obama's promise of transparency.
