Wedding proposal is (almost) a total and literal wash
(CBS News) According to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, "The course of true love never did run smooth." And while that accurately sums up the situation in the above video, he might have also mentioned something about it getting very wet sometimes, too. Watch to see what that means and just how "smoothly" things go for this couple on the verge of getting engaged.
I never knew "taking the plunge" could be quite so literal. All kidding aside, the memorable proposal moment was posted by YouTube user Matthew Hartman who writes:
I had the most amazing/crazy proposal on the 21st! I was surprised by a song written by my fiancé. He sang it atop a rock surrounded by the ocean waters at Laguna beach. As soon as he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, a HUGE wave completely engulfed us and washed us up to shore. Soaking wet, I quickly jumped up and said YES!So just like the aforementioned play, it sounds like everything worked out in the end. Congratulations go out to (hopefully dry-now) couple from all of us here at The Feed on their upcoming nuptials! One small word of advice: perhaps don't use that spot for the actual wedding.
