Ready to wish you had a giant, furry dragon of your own?
The latest trailer for this summer's "Pete's Dragon" is here, offering a more in-depth look at Disney's reimagining of the kids' classic about a boy named Pete (Oakes Fegley) and his big, fire-breathing friend, Elliot -- a dragon who lives in the forest and helps Pete survive on his own.
While the original 1977 film mixed live action with a hand-drawn animation Elliot -- and was a full-on musical -- the update brings the dragon to life using CGI. And from the looks of it, no one's doing any singing.
"Pete's Dragon" hits theaters August 12, 2016.
