Watch Apple's iPad event live -- on Apple products
Apple is expected to announce its new line of iPads Tuesday and the tech giant is letting people watch the event live, but there's a catch.
Those who want to see what Apple is announcing will only be able to watch the event on Apple TV or using the Safari browser installed on Apple's desktop and mobile operating systems -- OS X v10.6 (Mountain Lion) and iOS 4.2 or later. Watch a live stream of the event at Apple.com/apple-events.
Apple TV users can access the event through an events channel on the digital streaming device, but must have at least a second- or third-generation device with software 5.0.2 or later.
Apple is holding an event at the at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10 a.m. PT. CBSNews.com's sister site CNET will report live from the event.
