Less than 20 percent of American adults meet the federal guidelines for aerobic and muscle-building exercise.

In light of "CBS This Morning's" Morning Rounds segment with Dr. Jordan Metzl, who practices sports medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and advocates exercise bursts, the "CBS This Morning" anchors are conducting a 24-hour "Daily Showdown" on Fitbit, starting Tuesday, April 26 at midnight ET.
