Visit The Early Show

Be On National TV

(CBS)

If you are in New York City, visit The Early Show plaza from Monday through Friday and join weatherman Dave Price at 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.

So what are you doing at home? Join the fun and be on national TV. Price will make it an experience hard to forget.

For the winter months, The Early Show has lots of action in store. Mark Noonan braved the bitter cold in New York City the day after a blizzard to show Price the company's snow shovelling solution – the Whovel.

"I designed this," he told Price, "after many years of hurting my back."

It's well documented that, the less stress you put on yourself when shovelling, the better. It also cuts heart attack risk.

New Englanders have been, particularly, hit hard this winter getting up to 3 feet of snow. But while some complain for being buried by the blizzard, college student Jamey Townsend in North Carolina was making his own snow to snowboard in front of his house.

Yes, it is a crazy world!

And to keep the weather reporter in check, a young Early Show viewer made friends with Price and decided to offer the national forcast, himself.

On Australia Day, a purple kangaroo and Aussies in shorts brought their sunny disposition cheering for their very own, Bill Granger. The rising food star was warm inside the studio with Rene Syler sharing his recipes for polenta and Greek salad.

And speaking of recipes, the end of the month our anchors are preparing their favorite meals for a series called, "Impress the Chef."

The month of February, promises to be another exciting month with Dave doing, once again, his Dave in Primetime Challenge contest. Stay tuned and visit our Web site to enter.

The Early Show is about making dreams come true, so the popular series "Week of Wishes" will also air in February.
