Vin Diesel offers cryptic response to "Fast 8" drama: "I will tell you everything"

Dwayne Johnson had his say about tensions on the "Fast 8" set, and Tyrese Gibson had his chance to respond. But what about the franchise's main man, Vin Diesel?

In a sleepy-eyed Instagram video posted late Wednesday night, Diesel seemed to cryptically comment on the controversy.

The Fast and Furious star took to Instagram late Wednesday to check in with fans after wrapping up filming on the set of "Fast 8." In a video, Vin talks about his daughter, Pauline, who learned a new word while he was working on "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" and "Fast 8." He also seems to address the ongoing drama with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

"After being on set since literally Christmas to finally, finally, finally come home and to learn that your little angel learned new word ... I'm going to have to share it with you. It's more important than anything," Diesel said of his baby daughter, Pauline.

"Her new word kind of describes my spirit and my soul and most people who stay positive. The new word is 'happy.' When I heard her say 'happy' I just lit up with words I can't even describe."

But then Diesel got a mischievous glint in his eye and dropped his voice to a whisper. "All right, so give me a second and I will tell you everything," he said. "Everything."

Earlier this week, Johnson kicked off talk of discord among the "Fast 8" team by complaining about his male counterparts. Sources have suggested the focus of his ire is actually Diesel.
