VIDEO: Robbery suspect punches man in face in Times Square subway station

(CBS) - New York City police are looking for a robbery suspect who allegedly sucker-punched a man early Monday at a Times Square subway station, CBS New Yorkreports.

Surveillance video showed the 35-year-old male victim standing on the subway platform just after midnight Monday when the suspect approached him and started talking to him.

The suspect then punched the man in the face, causing the victim to fall down and suffer minor injuries, police said. They said the assailant then grabbed the victim's cell phone and ran onto the 1 train platform.

The suspect is described as a black male who is 6 foot, 3 inches tall and around 30 years old, CBS New York reports. He is seen in the video wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
