(CBS) AKRON, Ohio - A manager at an Akron Church's Chicken restaurant scared off two armed robbery suspects with a water hose, according to CBS affiliate WOIO.
According to the station, the employee was cleaning the back of the store on August 21 with a hose when he realized two robbers forced their way into the establishment.
The worker reportedly turned the water to hot and sprayed the armed suspects until they finally fled.
The station reports police believe the same men caught on camera were the ones who robbed the restaurant only three days before the incident. During that heist, the armed robbers allegedly got away with about $30.
No injuries were reported and police hope the surveillance video will help identity and capture the suspects.
