VIDEO: Man tried to rob phone store at the point of a finger, not a gun, say Phila. police

(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - Police say they are looking for a suspect who tried to rob a cell phone store at what seemed to be gunpoint, but turned out to be fingerpoint instead, reports CBS Philly.

The station reports the incident happened on Wednesday morning July 3, when, according to police, a man demanded money from a store employee while holding a plastic bag with what he said was a gun.

In the video, the two men are seen wrestling until the plastic bag falls and the empty hand is revealed. According to CBS Philly, police said the  employee grabbed the suspect's arm but he escaped.

Police are asking the public for help in finding the "gunman." He's described as a black male in his early 40's, about 5'7'' tall, with a medium build and a salt and pepper beard, reports CBS Philly.
