Video: Judge Judy Chews Out a Sales Manager

In this case, he uses clips from the Judge Judy show, a reality-TV program where a former judge essentially tells people how stupid they are in the process of adjudicating their cases. I'm not entirely sure that the use of Judge Judy's voice is going to "translate" well outside the U.S., but the reaction of the sales manager is priceless.

I'll bet you can think of some senior managers at your company that you wish would get this kind of call...

Anyway, what I like about this video is the way that the Sales Manager pretty much keeps his cool throughout the call. He doesn't get all subservient and he stands up for himself. Even though he's just being pranked, he's showing that you don't need to kowtow to angry customers, a point I made in my recent post "How to Cope with a Rude Customer."
