Step aside Christian Laettner. Serbian Dusan Kecman has now made the most improbable shot with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
Here's how it happened. In an NLB League Final between Partizan and Cibona in Zagreb, Partizan misses two crucial free throws with just seconds left. Cibona passes the ball down court and hits a miracle three pointer with 0.6 seconds on the clock. Pandemonium erupts. Cibona begins celebrating on the court.
But Partizan inbounds the ball to Kecman, who calmly chucks up a prayer from three quarters quart. It banks in. Partizan wins 75-74 to advance to the Euroleague Final Four.
A shell-shocked Cibona appealed the seemingly impossible shot but to no avail.
