Vanessa Minnillo, Nick Lachey have sunset wedding shower

(CBS) To help celebrate their upcoming nuptials, Vanessa Minillo and Nick Lachey held a wedding shower Sunday evening at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

The couple, who got engaged in November 2010 after four years of dating, greeted guests hand-in-hand at the private rooftop party, which started around 7 p.m., People reports.

"Vanessa looked gorgeous in a white dress with a black sash," an eyewitness told the magazine. "She and Nick both seemed very excited to celebrate with their families and friends."

Guests reportedly dined on dishes prepared in chef Gordon Ramsay's hotel kitchen and danced to music spun by a DJ.

Former "Dancing with the Stars" champ Drew Lachey, who is also the groom-to-be's younger brother, and NFL quarterback Matt Leinhart, were among the guests in attendance, according to Us magazine.

"My liver is furious with me," Lachey tweeted the next day. "Great time last night at our wedding shower."
