Urban's Rep Says He's Still In Rehab
Rumors that Keith Urban has left rehab are not true, his publicist told The ShowBuzz on Monday.
"At this stage in (Keith's) treatment, patients are occasionally allowed to leave for short periods of time," said his rep, Paul Freundlich. "Keith is not out of rehab and is not back home in Nashville — this is completely inaccurate. He is still undergoing treatment."
Us weekly magazine reported that Urban and his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, had brunch on Sunday at the Polo Lounge in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old singer entered rehab on Oct. 19 for treatment for alcohol abuse.
"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Urban said at the time in the statement. "One can never let one's guard down on recovery, and I'm afraid that I have," the statement reads. "With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome."Photos: Nicole & Keith's Nuptials
Urban's latest CD "Love, Pain, & the whole crazy thing," was released last month, but he postponed promotional appearances.
Kidman and Urban married over the summer in Sydney.
