Union Warns Qantas Pilots Might Strike
SYDNEY (AP) - A union official says Qantas pilots might strike over a dispute about job security.
Australian and International Pilots Association president Barry Jackson said on Thursday that a meeting with Qantas management on Wednesday failed to resolve key issues, including pilot concerns over their jobs moving offshore.
He says meetings of pilots on Friday and Monday next week will gauge support for strike action at some future date.
