(CBS News) President Obama is set to attend three fundraising events in Atlanta on Friday, and will get some help from a pair of famous faces.

Actor/director Tyler Perry is hosting a fundraiser for Mr. Obama at his Atlanta home. Tickets cost $35,000 per person, according to CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller, and approximately 60 people are expected.

The event at Perry's home is one of five fundraisers Mr. Obama will attend Friday (he also had two other events in Chicago earlier that day).

Another, held at Tyler Perry Studios, will feature a performance by singer/"The Voice" judge Cee Lo Green. That event will be attended by 1,000 people, with general admission tickets starting at $500. A limited number of tickets sold for $250.

All proceeds from Friday's trio of events - expected to total more than $5 million, per Knoller - will go to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee.
