Two injured when ceiling collapses at construction site in Manhattan

NEW YORK --Two workers were injured when a ceiling collapsed in Midtown, Manhattan on Friday morning, reports CBS New York.

Two construction workers were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident took place at around 10:15 a.m. at Madison Avenue near 42nd Street, reports CBS New York.

Demolition is taking place in the 24-story building where the ceiling collapsed. The Department of Buildings is investigating.
