Two Americans arrested in stabbing death of Pa. dad in Bahamas

FLEETWOOD, Pa. - Authorities say two American men have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the stabbing death of a businessman from eastern Pennsylvania at a resort in the Bahamas on Friday.

Police tell WFMZ-TV that four American men were taken into custody and questioned in the death of 45-year-old Carl Yerger of Ruscombmanor Township in Berks County.

Royal Bahamas Police Assistant Commissioner Emrick Seymour said two of the men have been charged and the other two have been released pending further investigation.

Yerger was found stabbed to death Friday morning on the grounds of the Big Game Club and Resort & Marina on Bimini.

He was an owner of Custom Milling and Consulting and was in the Bahamas on a business trip. The father of two also led the Oley Valley Youth League, a local sports association.
