(CBS) - Comic-Con 2011 officially starts today in San Diego with a celebrity-filled agenda.
The cast of "Twilight," including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, will all be on hand this afternoon to present a sneak peak at the anticipated vampire flick "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1."
The stars will later take part in a Q&A session, along with director Bill Condon, to share details on the first half of the two-party finale.
Cast members of HBO's hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" will also be around Thursday for a Q&A panel, with stars Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Jason Momoa, Kit Harington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau all scheduled to attend. It will be moderated by George R.R. Martin, author of the best-selling novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire" which inspired the show.
In addition, Day 1 will include a panel for Showtime's "Dexter" with stars Michael C. Hall and season 6 guest star Collin Hanks, and an appearance by actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who will take part in a panel for The CW's "Ringer," her anticipated return to TV.
Director Robert Rodriquez will help wrap up the day with exclusive previews of his two upcoming projects.
Comic-Con 2011, which began with a preview night Wednesday, runs through Sunday.
