Turn an Outlook E-mail Into a Message Invitation with SPlus

So your e-mail thread has been dragging on for days, and now there are a dozen people on the TO: line. It's time to get everyone in a room and hash it out once and for all. Wouldn't it be great if there was one button you could press to turn the e-mail into a meeting invite? If you use Outlook, now there is: SPlus coverts an Outlook e-mail into a meeting request automatically.

I've heard that this turn-a-thread-into-an-invite is a feature in the upcoming Outlook 2010, but you can experience it now in Outlook 2007. After you install the bits (you'll need to first install Visual Studio Beta 1), you'll have a Schedule Meeting menu item. Select it, and a new meeting request appears, with all the folks in the thread invited and the e-mail embedded in the details of the invite.

Very slick.
