TRVHIA Pursuit?

A clever wordsmith in the GOP conference has discovered that the Iraq supplemental spending bill’s official name has the acronym TRVHIA, which is a tad too close to “trivia” to be merely, well, trivial.

“Are House Democrats attempting to send a subliminal message that the Iraq War, troop funding, and the success of our efforts in the Global War on Terrorism are, indeed, trivial???” Republican aide Kim Olive demands to know over e-mail.

This is clearly no trifling matter, so let’s take a look.
